In No. 7, Calle del Carmen, near the Rambla and the Baroque church of Betlem, is the Forn de Betlem. It is the family Rocamora establishment, a long tradition in art baker. Its facade has the charm of catalan modernism of the late nineteenth century.
Founded in 1936, Forn de Betlem makes all the products it sells. The peasant bread, the rustic bread and chapatis are emblematic specialties so are the greaves cakes, muffins, fritters Lent, and the traditional 'panellets'.
