Celebrate Halloween in Barcelona
On the night of October 31st, we celebrate Halloween, better known in Barcelona as Castanyada.
Castanyada is a traditional Catalan holiday celebrated on November 1st, coinciding with the day of All Saints. It is a day that is used to gather the family and eating chestnuts and “panellets”, you will find more information about this in this post on our Blog.
Halloween is also celebrated, but with a more international touch, and it gives a bit of terror to the party.
During the weekend of November 1st, you can choose from a multitude of Castanyada and Halloween related activities in Barcelona. You can see all the activities by clicking here.
