Mateo MartÃnez, at reception in the morning shift, talks about his predilections

Hello, my name is Mateo MartÃnez, born in Barcelona and I am your morning receptionist.
I like the Hotel Curious for its modern style and its location in Barcelona center. Although we are a short walk from the Ramblas our street is a quiet place where you can get everywhere on foot. What I would do is put in the rooms radio stations, and although at the moment isn't possible, I would like to sort out the roof to have a place to rest and read.
Like Barcelona for many reasons: its rich architecture (both traditional and modern), the unity between ancient and modern, the wide cultural offer, it's nice weather, it's beaches, gastronomy... come and see it by yourself, there are many reasons!
I recommend to visit the Maritime Museum, housed in the old shipyard, the Horta Labyrinth Park is breathtaking, the Caixaforum, Arus Library dates from the late nineteenth... and the charm of antique shops like Casa Gispert, El Ingenio, Queviures Murray QuÃlez Escribà ... etc.
Good places for dining out are En Ville, Bar Lobo, L'Antic Forn and La Lluna and all of them are very close to us.
