Exhibit at Picasso Museum: "Devorar París. Picasso 1900-1907"
Hotel Curious wants to talk today about an exhibition at the Picasso Museum. "Devorar París. Picasso 1900-1907" is the contextual depiction of the influences that had Picasso during his stay in Paris, where lived Toulouse Lautrec, Van Gogh, Cezanne, Bonnard, Steinlen Roden, Gauguin... a period called Pink because of the optimism in the colors used. It will show works of these authors among others, in collaboration with the Van Gogh Museum of Amsterdam that aims to present the artistic evolution that suffered Pablo Picasso and brought him to lead the avant-garde movement in Paris. This Picasso painting exhibition organized by the catalan museum and the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam will be open until October 16. The exhibition, which features 60 works by Picasso and nearly 40 works by other artists that led the art scene and that influenced Picasso, allows us to take a leap in time and travel to Paris of the early twentieth century, when a young Picasso raced and tributed to the mass culture of that time.
