Davis Cup Final in Barcelona the 4-6th of Dicembre 2009 in the Palau San jordi

Posted by: Hotel Curious at 2009-12-03

The Hotel Curious recomends you to enjoy this great sport event taking place in the Olympic Stadium of the Montjuic Mountain of Barcelona, 15 minutes away from the Ramblas

Build in 1990 for the Olympic Games in Barcelona in 1992, the Palau San Jordi, Saint George Palace, has seen many great events and was the site of one of the most impressive Olympic feats in gymnastic history (when Vitaly Sherbo won 6 out of 8 gold medals), as well as loads of rock shows of U2, Tina Turner, Aerosmith and many more.

This week end will be the Davis Cup Final beetwen Spain and Czech Republic. Rafael Nadal will be the spanish player who have the honor to open the final against Tomas Berdych.

That will be the begining of a really intense 3 days competition for the victory.
That will be the 4th Cup for Spain or the 2nd for the Czech Republic.
Ladies and Gentlemen, place your bets !!

Don’t buckle your seat belt as it will restrict your ability to stand up and cheer!

Maybe bring some hear plugs as the Spanish fans are experts at cheering wildly for their team. At that Final, which Spain won 3-2 against the USA, a “small” 23,000 or so spanish fans sounded as if they were 50,000 strong.

Do Not Miss It !!!
